Hughes Furniture Industries is a second generation family business with its roots in the furniture industry dating back to 1963 with the founding of Mid-State Frame Company. Hughes Furniture Industries builds furniture frames and manufactures stationary and motion upholstery furniture, sofas, loveseats, chairs, ottomans, sleepers and recliners across ten facilities located in Randleman and Randolph County, North Carolina U.S.A.

LIMITED WARRANTIES

The following Limited Warranties are given to the original retail purchaser of furniture manufactured by Hughes Furniture Industries, Inc. and North Carolina Lumber Company, d/b/a Motion Eaze Recliners, (collectively “Hughes Furniture”).

FRAMES

Hughes Furniture warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, that all hardwood and plywood frames will be free of defects in workmanship and material for one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Under this warranty Hughes Furniture’s obligation is limited to repairing or replacing any part or parts covered under this warranty. Costs for packaging, shipping and installation are not covered by this warranty.

FABRICS AND LEATHER

Hughes Furniture warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, that all upholstery fabrics and leather products will be free of defects in workmanship and materials, including fraying and seam slippage, for one (1) year from your date of purchase. This warranty is not valid for any damage or problems with fabric or leather where there is evidence of excessive soiling, improper cleaning, physical damage or abuse. This warranty also does not apply if there has been a protective coating treatment after the original shipment to the retailer. Leather exhibits natural characteristics such as nicks, scars, variations of shades and wrinkles. These markings are to be expected and are not considered to be defective. In addition, this warranty will not cover any damage to leather resulting from sun exposure – leather will fade. Stains of any kind will invalidate this warranty, including but not limited to grease, mud, beverage or food spills, stains caused by chemicals, cleaners or biological stains from either pets or humans. Pet hair will damage your furniture covering and will also invalidate this warranty. Under this warranty Hughes Furniture’s obligation is limited to repairing or replacing any part or parts covered under this warranty. Costs for packaging, shipping and installation are not covered by this warranty.

WORKMANSHIP

Hughes Furniture warrants to you, the original retail purchaser, that the manufactured components, other than those for which a different warranty period has been separately specified, will be free of defects in workmanship and material for one (1) year from your date of purchase.
